Flight times average 1½ hours per charge at a constant cruising speed. We have had up to 5 hours of flight time under soaring/gliding conditions.

Using a standard 110v outlet, the batteries can be recharged in 6 hours for the largest battery pack. We also have available a 220v charger which reduces the charge time to 2 hours.

Normal cruise speed is around 70mph which allows for the best efficiency. The maximum flight speed is rated at 90mph.

The motor is a custom built DC 18hp (13.5kw) permanent magnet motor. Both the Trike and ElectraFlyer-C use the same motor design and technology.

Each battery pack is made up of Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) cells which provide the greatest specific energy density of any battery type. The battery packs come in 3 sizes, from 2.6kwh to 5.6kwh capacities depending on the flying style you may choose.
