    Had a great time at Sun-N-Fun 2014. We displayed at the LSA mall and flew at Paradise City almost every day. Hundreds of people stopped by to discuss electric flight. Thanks to Dan and Randy Johnson for inviting us to the LSA Mall. 130 hours flight time on the ULS now date of update April 10, 2014

    We'll be at Sun-N-Fun 2014 April 1-6 We will be displaying the ElectraFlyer-ULS in the LSA mall in paradise city. We will also have the ElectraFlyer-C nearby in spot 505. We plan to fly the ULS every day, weather permitting.

    Displayed at Sun-N-Fun 2013 in the Light Sport Area. We had a lot of fun meeting so many people with interest in Electric flight. The turnout was great and we flew the ULS in front of the crowds.

How long is the flight time on one charge? ElectraFlyer Trike | ElectraFlyer-C

Flight times average 1½ hours per charge at a constant cruising speed. We have had up to 5 hours of flight time under soaring/gliding conditions.

How long does it take to recharge the battery pack? ElectraFlyer Trike | ElectraFlyer-C

Using a standard 110v outlet, the batteries can be recharged in 6 hours for the largest battery pack. We also have available a 220v charger which reduces the charge time to 2 hours.

How fast does the ElectraFlyer-C fly? ElectraFlyer-C

Normal cruise speed is around 70mph which allows for the best efficiency. The maximum flight speed is rated at 90mph.

What type of motor is used in the ElectraFlyer? ElectraFlyer Trike | ElectraFlyer-C

The motor is a custom built DC 18hp (13.5kw) permanent magnet motor. Both the Trike and ElectraFlyer-C use the same motor design and technology.

Each battery pack is made up of Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) cells which provide the greatest specific energy density of any battery type. The battery packs come in 3 sizes, from 2.6kwh to 5.6kwh capacities depending on the flying style you may choose.

The largest battery pack (5.6kwh) weighs 78 lbs (35.5 kg) including all packaging and wiring.
